Lumberg brought up a great idea last night as we were doing positron's bidding. He suggested that since we kinda go nuts with you tube links during groups, that we take the music there and put it into a compilation of sorts. Kinda like, a DoD sound track.
Each member needs to suggest 3 songs to go on this compilation. The songs shall be old school in nature, none of this new crap that gets spread about like the filth it is. This is not a list of, hey I will list my three favorite songs. Three songs, relevant to DoD, thematically, lyrically, or musically. Unless of course its Lou Bega, he is always welcome.
Use this thread to post your suggestion and to talk about the song choices. |

And "Never Gonna Give You Up," by Rick Astley (that's right, I am going to be the guy to Rick-roll everyone)

You know, maybe we should just fill in some of the others' contributions with "Mix Tape" from Avenue Q, "Mix Tape" by Brand New, and/or "The Mixed Tape" by Jack's Mannequin. Or maybe "Mix Tape" by Jim's Big Ego, or "Mix Tape" by Johnny Socko. Perhaps even "Mixtape" by The Hanks.
Just a thought. Then again, we could just harass the lazy bastards until they give in, too.
I should probably note that most of those songs are actually quite good. |
